Food, drugs and the whole shebang!

If the health care system has got it so right why is everything going so wrong? If we’re the greatest country in the world why is our diet so bad?

All around us the stories of how broken it is circulate, mainstream only delivers half of the truth.
There are a lot of ugly statistics out there let’s talk them… every year foodborne illness affects about 40 million people in the United States this is due to large scale, unclean butchering practices, the way food is processed and toxins that come into contact with food.
How often is a small farm involved in this? Almost never.
Sustainable farming practices are clean, are best for the animals and plants as well as for the consumer.
One big problem is that we over-consume, getting behind why we do it ties back to the food supply. Large scale farming practices don’t support healthy soil, the things that grow there are deficient in nutirents. Add to that the meat animals gown in CAFO’s and feedlots are normally so sick sue to crowding and unsanitlary living condidtions that they must be pumped full of antibiotics and medecation to keep them on their feet. The dairy industry has the ugly reality of Bovine  Growth Hormones, they get into you and your kids, not good.
Do we know what the long term effect of all of this is? No we don’t, GMO’s just hit the food around 1992, large scale farming really took off sometime then too.
If your kids were born in the 80’s and have been consuming this “normal Western diet” you are sure to bet the health probelms will come.
A shocking fact I found was about 300 of every 100,000 American people develop cancer every year that means we had the seventh highest cancer rate in the world.
The news keeps telling us about people who are fighting depression, this seems to be another growing problem. I recently learned that now when you walk into the office and say someone you love died,  bereavement will now classify as a reason to prescribe you anti-depressants. What happened to just crying and dealing with the passing of someone, it is hard, I have been there, but people die every day, we have to learn to go on, tears are shed and we endure the grief  process and ususally time has a way of bringing us out the other side.

If you’re looking to your television for advice and ways to make yourself better theywill gladly tell you about every drug that comes down the pike. Glossed over pretty scenes with lovely music playing as they rattle off the side effects…tumors, cancer, death.
You’re left with that bland feeling at the end of the commercial that wondering what’s worse?  What you’re dealing that or the side effects of the drugs.
I personally love the advertisements for vitamins this is one of the biggest lies.
“One a Day” ladies, that’s all you have to do. We hereby unhook you from a diet rich in nutrients, eat whatever you want, excessively. We have you covered!
I found  a Harvard article  about a trial review that was done on people who were given supplements of vitamin A, vitamin D, and beta-carotene having a higher death rate.
There was also evidence that the synthetic folic acid that people are in taking may be a contributing factor in the findings of colorectal cancer.
Your getting this enriched multivitamin and then you’re getting it again in enriched grain cereal products including bread, rice, and pasta you’re exceeding a safe limit after this.
Do we really believe all this stuff?
They are literally starving us to death feeding us GMO foods that have little or no nutrition and trying to teach us to replace the missing nutrients and cover the sins of the foods with more sins.
Children are brainwashed in front of the television from a very early onset and learn fast about the giant yellow M and the clown man who has all the  yummy food. But that’s not the reality of fast food is it?
Obesity rates are rising, the diabetes problem in this country is through the roof, and we really think we’ve got it right???
It’s the year 2013 and everybody’s sick.
I’ll tell you some of the things I’ve done recently made the biggest difference. I personally don’t take a multivitamin but I’ve been turned onto some products that are pretty fantastic and I’ll share them with you.
I learned about the mineral drops from a lady at my health food store, when I realized the issues with multivitamins and hated the way they tasted in my mouth, she said these we’re awesome and they are. Taking them has been one of the best investments I’ve made. The bottle last lasts a long time you only need five or six drops today and the benefits can be felt right away.

The other product is the whole body detox by PurEssesntials, absolutely wonderful stuff!  The whole body detox I did after being on pharmaceutical products for the last 13 years and having felt like a lab rat, being tested, being poked, prodded and given every pill for every symptom.
I began to feel like I was dirtier than my garbage can and it turns out I was.  Detoxing does not come without a price though, you should know what you are getting into and know that you are not going back to a poor diet and lifestyle or you will be re-doing it again.

I swore off any pharmaceutical pills and pain killers. The decision to get clean was a desperate shot at getting better.
The biggest places I saw activity was my skin and my elimination. It was frequent and I felt cleaned out. The skin was another matter, cysts began to appear and slowly burst to go away. My holistic helper said my body chose those two ways to get rid of junk and everyone is different.
To help that along I learned about something called azomite powde.
If you look this up yes, it does say it’s fertilizer but you know what? When you’re trying to get rid of toxins in your body and your immune system is too weak to support disposal of them, something has to give.  The tiny clay particles adhere to the toxins that are broken up thanks to the detox and remove pathogens from the body.

Another is a company called Standard Process, they make some of the top-of-the-line, best supplements if you’re looking to find truly beneficial, organic products, crafted with care. If you are curious, give them a look. Andrographis  is one of the most interesting immune supporters I found out about in the holistic world.
Andrographis enhances enhances your immune system function and support your body in ways a multivitamin can’t.
And I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Mercola’s products.  I use his vitamin D spray and his vitamin B12 spray because sublingually entering through the mouth goes directly into the bloodstream.

Our diets don’t support healthy levels of vitamin D or vitamin B12 and it’s something that helps your immune system alot.  B 12 helps to maintain normal energy levels and supports healthy cell growth and repair. Vitamin D on the other hand has a huge effect on pretty much every function in your body, if you’re not outside in the sun for 15 minutes daily getting it the natural way, you need to be supplementing your vitamin D levels.
None of these items are hugely expensive things, they will support your basic health and your cell function. Our immune systems are beaten up and bruised every day, toxins in, toxins in….Do they go out? And when?
Another thing you can do to help yourself and I know, I preach this all the time, is change your diet. Look for pastured meat that is been raised and processed humanely, not given antibiotics, and not given growth hormones. Look for vegetables that are organic and haven’t been sprayed with pesticides and herbicides, grown in organic soil with care and a conscience, besides it tastes better.
You need to really think about this stuff it impacts you are you have to do is a real quick study about cell regeneration to understand you do become what you eat.
