Bearing Disgrace

As I sit in this christmas village, the world celebrates something I do not understand. Since I was small, as santa, the grinch, frosty and a throng of created things swarmed the stores, the manger dwindled. Only to grow up and realize that too was take from realistics and in it’s own way was contrived. A a mish-mosh of facts thrown together by religion to appease the masses. As a woman nearing middle age I loathe it more and more. Babel has returned, the people then were making a name for themselves and as we push American christmas in it’s many forms onto the least of these, it makes me very, very sad. Jesus would most likely not be celebrating lavishly with you all. He was an outcast I remind you all. He does not accept praise from man so I am not sure what all the buzz is.
All this want, all this give, in the name of numbers. At the end of the season will any be closer to deep faith or just miring in debt and the economic boom or the fall it brings, then January the season of depression is on us and we mire in the lack of festivities hungover and miserable. I sit year after year, protected by the truth and watch.
My own roots are so small and simple they are not worth mentioning. The lack was greater than anything, we had not, but did not know we lacked. Contentment was our key to joy, my daddy made sure of that, the mindset of our house was this, we have Jesus what more is there to ask for? Indeed and I stick to it rather than any tradition or long-held ritual. I have no rituals, in a world of them, I feel like an outcast. Good, outside the camp is where Jesus is, so I am in the right place.
The things that stand out to me most is how closely my dad held to nothing of this world but his Bible, I am thankful every day that he showed me that part of his person, continually for my entire life until the Lord took him home.
Dear Abraham, I read of him with such a kindred warmth. His oath, declared to the Lord God Most High, he refused to accept anything from Sodom’s king, with good reason, Sodom was wicked beyond a cure.
He gave the world no ownership on him and we share that, it has none on me anymore, my allegiance is to the Creator of all. The designer of me, my faith and all of eternity.
It came to me today, if only mankind has realized loyalty to the Lord God before their own accomplishments, it would have gone well, at least better. Oh the story, HIStory, not ours.
The Lord came to sit with Abraham and He ate with him, predicted the coming of his own son Issac. He laughed, Sarah laughed, then they denied laughing at such a preposterous idea in old people, a baby, come on. But as always God delivers and He did, Issac came and was a blessing indeed.
What a very different picture we see from Sarah to Mary. Sarah had beauty and power, Mary was obscure and humble. The message of improbable birth on them both, such different responses. One woman would not, could not fathom, the other, accepting without proof and obeying, glorying in such an honor.
In chapter 27 of Genesis there is story about Issac who repeated his fathers mistakes with his beautiful wife. Is this our lot? The Lord helped both men without judgements on them, they were but mortal and flawed and mercy did flow always from the Throne where there is never panic, never a surprise and never evil.
The Lord helped them for they held to the covenant that Abraham made with God, they saw God’s glory and hand move among them, they feared God. I too fear God and in this culture I fear for many who claim God but did not do what He says. Many go along to save face and go with the flow so as not to disrupt unity. But this is not the unity we are called to. We are called to one mind in Christ and Christ did not go with the flow or HIS story would have ended much differently. He was killed, all part of God’s plan but know that this is the intense end of hate, death at the hands of another. This is where the world is headed today as love fades slowly away. As Jesus said it would. How can I say it is fading? I was shown firsthand and it is not something I glory in. Rather it has been very painful.
That all said…
In Hebrews 12 we are told to consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men so that we will not grow weary and lose heart. We are told to endure hardships as discipline. The word disciple is in the word discipline. Get it yet? Although painful, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace to all trained by it. So live at peace and be holy. Don’t miss God’s Grace, remind people of it and see to it that no bitter roots spring up among you that will defile many.
Do not refuse God, do not turn away from God. Worship Him with reverence and awe. He is a consuming fire. Reject living money and be content. Outside the camp for in this world we are outcasts. I desire a clear conscience, I desire to live honorably. I meditate on these things for Jesus is my King. Although I abide in utter wickedness, I want to live freely. I am walking out of this alive and clean, make no mistake.
This church on earth, decorated and all set to look like a tabernacle. These people have no right at the altar of faith, it has all been built by money and world wisdom. When the Lord returns all of this will burn to dust. God will not be mocked. And as I lose popularity with people I care less and less for He is my portion and in Him I rest. I am not negative or depressed, I am filled with Joy, my face upturned and I await the arrival of the angels who will go to the 4 corners and begin to collect what belongs to God. My hands will not be full of trinkets or books, nay Lord, they will be holding onto the ones I snatch from the fire.
There is a spiritual war coming, I hope you are ready dear readers. He is our shield, your weapons will be useless, your guns and your mouths will be laughable.
You should have read the whole book. As long as it is today, there is time.
Much love.

Church and “the Church”

A place I struggle is church in America. Do I hold things against it, I could but am moved to simply pray. Church in America failed me. Do I lament this? No. If I truly know my Lord, I know He is Sovereign, His Providence is in motion and nothing is an accident.
I do not have as some may think, an agenda to take down church in America, however I am pressing it to cleanse itself.
Dear American church, you stand before God Almighty claiming to do His will, do you really?
In the books of Timothy we are given guidelines and warnings about the church that we stand to profit from studying.
Paul warned about endless genealogies and myths that promote controversy among God’s people. We are told about meaningless talk, about anger among us and about disputing. We are given pictures of what overseers of the believers looks like.
Men, above reproach, husband of one wife, temperate, self controlled,  respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. With a well managed family, with children that model respect and obedience. His good reputation will keep him from falling into disgrace.
Deacons among us also, worthy of respect, sincere men, not drunks, not pursuing dishonest gains. They must hold deep truths of the faith with clear conscience, we are to test these men before they take place over us. The wives are to be also worthy of respect, not malicious talkers, temperate and trustworthy in all things.
The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared with a hot iron.
I ask how many myths and old wives takes are in the teachings? How much world wisdom? How much personal doctrine is put into teachings that is irrelevant in the light of Christ and the Gospel of Truth.
We are called to be people who take care of one another, the man who does not provide for his relatives has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. I could explore that deep mine but pray you do it yourself. This culture has us outsourcing our responsibilities to one another and caring by proxy, this is wicked. And we sit before God unashamed?
Godliness with contentment, I can speak long on that. Having been stripped of my position and salary reduced to common and simple life, I know what I had to let go of. To pick it up again, to chase it again would be folly, once I was stripped I saw the wickedness of how I lived. I look at so many who claim to be in the faith that are utterly dependent on the system. The money coming in, the insurances, the retirement plans, the medical field and it’s cures.
If Jesus told us we will suffer, that we will be outcasts then where is it?
Where is faith if the system you live in sustains you? What is you lose all of your money, affluence, ability to buy things, get good medical care, what if all that goes away? Who will the church be then? What will their faith look like when their mask is off?
There is a verse that speaks to us about turning away from goodness chatter and opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, the ones who profess this have wandered from the faith.
In church it is rituals, we do it this way because that is how it is done, according to who? Is that what the Lord said? No. Jesus said religion is nothing.
Everyone shows up and is nice to each other. Intercession is short and covers the basics. But I am left to wonder who in the crowd is aching for what breaks God’s heart. We show up to get our portion, the thing we call worship. But I fear so much for so many. If you read God’s Word to understand you would see the church in America has veered far off course.
I cannot absolve the burden for the lost or the issues in humanity there. These are the ones we are sent to save, how many times do we gather to discuss it before someone actually moves in faith and begins snatching them from the fire as we are told to. I have sat broken and in need of help, simply a word or a hug and left church in lack. And you are a hospital for the spiritually sick? When does the Bible actually come alive and when do we lay hands and heal? Where is the supernatural and the working power of the living God?
If fruit is the defining factor and the Acts church was ripe with miracles, where is that church today? Remember Jesus renounced miracle in some places due to lack of faith. They did not truly believe. I think that the church in America depends on itself, is high on it’s own power and money and is in disrepute. This bothers me for the truth is obscured and when the abomination that causes desolation comes it is game over. Please wake up.
The religious cabal that ran the show in the days of our Lord did not die. He did and rose again but this system has also been advancing at the same time the Kingdom is. Forceful men lay ahold of the Kingdom, but with the other hand they should not be taking up the way of the world. One hand on the world the other on the Kingdom, who are we serving?
In America there is a wicked system that trades human beings, children as a commodity. The sex trade linked deeply to many American institutions including the government, churches and educational places. The documentary called I am Jane Doe exposes the fact that our internet system is deeply involved in this. Google and Facebook both support and cover up these corrupt laws that allow the darkness to consume kids.  This is something the church in America will never go after because why bite the hand that feeds you? Then stop letting it feed you.
Get off that train as it is going down.
I won’t yoke up to system that is distracted on the real issues. The truth is out there for anyone who wants to find it but it will change you, no longer can you go back to the mind numbing coma that religion wants you in. The Bible is ripe with warnings. The science world is rapidly moving toward evil things. the medical world is hot on it’s heels. Remember God says they who do not love the truth will be given over to a powerful delusion. If you are already asleep you will never know.
I pray that my word awaken. I pray that the truth seed settles deep in you and grows. Spoken in love for your souls salvation.
Sanctification is not done by reading the books, taking the classes or gaining merit with men. God sanctifies whom HE calls. He who has called us is faithful and HE WILL do it.
Here is a podcast that will help you if you choose to hear this man of God speak.
Abba Father let each reader who sees this word you gave to me be blessed, I ask in Jesus precious name Amen.
Love, Marla

Sober self assessments. From 1 John.
Do I obey your Word Lord?
Is Your love, truly complete in me?
Do I walk as Jesus did?
Am I in the Light?
Do I love the world and it’s things?
When you come, will I be confident and unashamed?
Do I hold views and things I will be judged on? Things I knew were ungodly but allowed anyway?
Did I let the Truth and Word of God richly indwell in me?
Have I quenched the Spirit of God with this confusion?
Let me never grow unaware that the “world” has it’s very own viewpoint.
The world speaks of a double mind, it is all around us. Religion has taked the Sacred Word of the Most Holy God and mingled it with the world’s viewpoints. This is the stumbling blocks we are warned of.  We are surrounded by false doctrines, ideals and rules. Much of it is rooted in fear, a place a child of God is never called to go. We are called into complete confidence in our Lord and His Promises to never leave or forsake us.
God has His own viewpoint too, His name is Jesus, God in flesh. There are 2 spirits, the spirit of Truth and the spirit of false hood.
If I truly am God’s possession, I seek to act and walk just like Jesus.
I seek to do what is right. We do not have God’s seed, live in Jesus and continue to sin.
We are instructed to love not in words and with tongue, that is lip service but to be rooted in actions and in Truth. Jesus is Truth. Do what He did.
We are commanded to believe in Jesus and love others. Remembering mercy trumps judgements.
When we do God purifies us just as He is pure.  We are called also to give the same love to others as God gives us. He is all merciful to us. He knows our weakness.
Why do we hold it back from others? We judge them. In our hearts decide, no.
Is it sin we are afraid of? If it is others caught in it, what good does your judgement do? It is divisive and it is a sin. If we see people commit sins we are told to pray for them. Period. We do not have power to change people but nothing is impossible with God. Make your requests known but know God already knows what that person needs, you love them for this is the will of the Lord our God.
The one thing that todays christians forget is that we are told the whole world is under the control of the evil one. Humans judge bad but we also judge what is good? How do you know really what you do is good? Is it a tradition, ritual, passed down, pedigree?
God’s seed annihilates that, if you are still yoked here you have missed the point of Christ in you. This is not my judgement this is the Truth. Go seek it in the Holy Word. Prove me.
Jesus gives us internal understanding, so we know Him who is true. He says to keep away from idols. We worship nothing but God.
There is no voice that trumps God, nothing louder
No compulsion that should rule us to disobey
Self, individualism, Ego, Accomplishments, Money, Lifestyle
In silence do I go before God daily?
Am I honest, is our relationship intimate?
Am I on a mission that reselmbles the one Jesus was on? Indeed there is a harvest and time is short.
Peter Christ
Am I taking time, one on one with the people around me who have questions about my faith?  Has my mustard seed grown into a big tree that offers shade and rest.
Am I a sanctuary?
Am I complete in Christ, have I grown up in Him?
Where are my actions leading me?
There is a huge error in the church. How this world like to classify us and put us in systems but this is diametrically opposite of the freedom we are promised in Christ. This tolerance of wickedness, meshing world in to the Spiritual.
Jesus was the most intillectually intolerant man there was. There is no other wisdom, He is all Wisdom.
Jesus was physically intolerant, no exercise or pill will fix you, He is healer.
He was intolerant to world views, there is no soulmate here for you, He is the only lover of your soul who can complete you. He says, I AM.
We tell people to change but the Word says retain the position you were in when you were called. Affect the surrounding you are in, shine then light in the dark corner of the world you are in.
We say accept Jesus and then what happens?
They become spiritual babies. What is they live on milk forever?
What is 30 years later it is still a baby? All spiritual growth is incremental. Iron sharpens iron and we are to help, teach, admonish and encourage one another in faith.
There are 2 births.
In the first, water breaks and you arrive.
In the second, born of spirit you are invited to forgiveness.
The church in todays world is not who the early believers were.
Sin was not tolerated, demons were cast out, confessions were fluent and prayer was the language. Love was the rule.  Each person was known and sought to know. Today’s churches have many masks. And there are dark forces behind them.
I look around and I weep, I see the system trying to douse the fire of the Holy One and it will not be. Purify yourselves.
Time is short.
I am praying for you dear reader, in the love of Jesus our Precious risen Lord.

Living in the Word not the World

My heart is so grieved from what I see. I have come so close to just deleting Facebook and being done but I see so many people I love wandering down paths they need not go down, paths that may end up bringing confusion and loss to their lives. For this is keep going, not going to hide my light. Ever. Fear is not an option.
When I was a kid I read, a book that impacted me was Pilgrims Progress, written around 1675 by Paul Bunyan while in prison. He gave a face and voice to the walk we take to the Lord.
In our search for peace here, I have come to understand it is only in the Lord. The world offers it in other caveats but it is false. There is a character called Mr. Worldly Wisdom in the story, he lives in the village called Morality. He tries to convince Christian that settling down to obey the 10 Commandments with the rest of the moral people is a safer option than obeying the voice of Evangelist.
How I see that today, we pick up the things of the world and make them part of our home. We are so moral. We seek to be feeling good and fit. We decide a good government is enough. We approve our education and go seek wisdom. We send our kids to educators when the Word says the Holy spirit will teach all while the biggest teaching is to be in the home. We assume the diagnosis is true and the pills will work.
In the comforts of life, that is where the enemy lurks. How many ways are there to capitalize on gain in America, it is founded on that. And factions the same way still, our system is a bully and once it can dominate something or some place it takes up exploiting it’s resources and leaving it worse than it was at the start. And it has with the people God created for HIS pleasure and glory. We are a plundered bunch, we really just think we are doing so well. We were called to love our neighbors but rather we have drug our neighbors down the same moral road and here we are in chaos. Evangelism took on a world package deal, intermingling with governments, ag systems and medical systems. Where is Jesus if you already have the answers?
Long ago, I set out to be a massage therapist, halfway into my degree my hands swelled up. I was bumped from that path fast with the diagnosis of RA. I let go of the idea, carried on with being who I was and kept going. When I got sick with Lyme, after being abused by the medical system I entered the world of holistic things. I ran both to the very end and made my analysis of my time there.
While I admit there are things that help us to manage pain and cope, there is one thing that rules and wins and that is the Power of God. God has not given up His title of Healer, does he need our help?
We assign God’s power to plants and substances but why? Did the early disciples carry a kit? No. They carried the power of the Spoken Word of Healing that comes from one place, the Kingdom of God.
When did Mr Worldy Wise infiltrate the church, the church is the bride of Christ? Are we taking all of our modalities along that we worshipped here? Why are we bringing them to the place of worship? Jesus revealed the body is a temple for the Lord, when He cleared the temple it was of money changers and wares sellers, our bodies are not hangouts for this stuff if we seek to be pure in God.
I see so many with oils and touch therapy, putting faith in it but would these same people go on the street and take up the authority of God to restore sight to the blind? No, they’d be embarrassed to do that. It is easier to mock the one who do.
We will massage any old person yet are told in the Word to not be hasty with the laying on of hands.
We take up the advice spewed out in the information system yet it often is diametrically opposed to our faith, we look first them we pray. I am guilty myself.
Two other things from the story that blaze in my mind is when Christian meets the Interpreter who is the Holy Spirit, he is shown “excellent things”.
First, a parlor filled with dust, to model the human heart before it is cleansed by the Gospel. What lurks in the corners of the parlor? Is Jesus rolling your tables or did you tell him not to touch your stuff?
Second, a wall with fire burning against it, and a figure (the devil) throwing water on the fire trying to quench it. The interpreter tells him the water thrower will never succeed because the fire represents the divine spirit in the human heart and a figure on the far side of the wall keeps the fire burning brightly by secretly pouring oil on it — “the oil of Christ’s Grace.”
There is an enemy that seeks to ruin us, he will use whatever he can to do so, the only protection is to seek the character of the Lord always in all we do. Would Jesus do what Christians do? I really don’t think so. I am sorry to say.
Christian makes it to the Hill and when he regard the Cross his burden he has been carrying rolls into a place where it is never again seen. For his edification and instruction he is given a “roll”, a text from God.
Christianity was placed on a high place somehow when the love of God is lowly and humble, no wonder the discord I hear, no harmony. Jesus called us as His to be people of peace, the peace we have is indwelt through Him in our hearts. Not here, not in our churches, not in our schools, understand these are things of earth. Jesus said that He brought division to the world, why all the energy to unite, we are called to steer from it and save as many as we can.
God’s people are called into being different, we do not go with the flow. The flow is leading to destruction.
We are living in the place Christian avoided in the story, Vanity Fair. In that town, Interested only in commerce and money-making, the town holds a year-round fair at which all kinds of things are bought and sold — “houses, lands, trades, titles, . . . lusts, pleasures, . . . bodies, souls, silver, gold, pearls, precious stones, and what not.” Christian and Faithful infuriate the merchandisers by turning up their noses at the wares offered them, saying that they would buy nothing but the Truth. Faithful ends up being martyred there and Christian escapes to finally make it to the Celestial City.
The time is coming when Vanity Fair will end, the next thing that came to our traveler was the Giant of Despair who lives in Doubtful Castle.
It is faith that is the star of the show, Christian remembers the promise and is able to keep going.
Faith. Jesus asked if He will find it when He comes. Faith. the mustard seed that will grow. Faith. What made the patriarchs who they were. Faith. The thing that will stand when God shakes this place One More time.
What is with all of the evolution of us? We are told to remain in the situation were in when we were called to Christ. Why do I see women leaving unbelieving husbands, why does the church advise it? Go read 1 Corinthians 7 verse 10. Also don’t come to me, go speak to God who said it.
If your church is hung up on property and taking what is ours, our comfort, our freedom…..I fear for you. Jesus called us to suffer outside the gates. I will close there for many will feel I am condemning you but I am not. I warn for I have already seen. You will either believe me or you won’t. Jesus said if you believe me, you believe Him, if you believe Him, you believe the One who sent Him.
You are all are loved, He asks you the same things he asks me. Turn. We either do or we don’t.
Much love,
